Aki In Range shows fuel prices at petrol stations in Spain, compared with the average of your area, and tells you whether a cheaper station is worth the detour.

Where do the prices come from? From the official open data service of the Spanish Ministry for the Ecological Transition (MITECO). Petrol stations in Spain are required by law to report their prices to it. Aki In Range is an independent app and is not affiliated with the Spanish Government.
Why does a price not match the one at the pump? Prices are those reported by each station to the Ministry, and some stations update them late. When a station has kept the same price for a long time while the rest of the area has changed, the app shows a warning triangle: its price may be out of date.
What does the number in cents mean? It is the difference between the station’s price and the average price of all stations within your search radius. Negative means cheaper than the average; positive means more expensive.
How does “Is it worth it?” work? The app compares each station with the open station you can reach soonest. It weighs what you would save on a full tank against the fuel spent on the extra kilometres, there and back. You can adjust the litres per fill-up, your car’s consumption and the “Worth it” threshold in Settings.
Why do I see no stations? The app only covers Spain, including the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla. If you are outside Spain or have not allowed location access, you can try the example in Madrid. Also check your connection and try a larger search radius in Settings.
Which fuels are available? Petrol 95 E5, Petrol 98 E5, Diesel (Gasóleo A) and Premium diesel (Gasóleo Premium).
How far back does the history go? Up to one year. The first time you open a long period, the app downloads the missing days, which may take a moment.
Can I open directions in another app? Yes. Choose Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze in Settings.

¿De dónde salen los precios? Del servicio oficial de datos abiertos del Ministerio para la Transición Ecológica (MITECO). Las gasolineras de España están obligadas por ley a comunicarle sus precios. Aki In Range es una app independiente y no está vinculada al Gobierno de España.
¿Por qué un precio no coincide con el del surtidor? Los precios son los que cada gasolinera comunica al Ministerio, y algunas los actualizan con retraso. Cuando una gasolinera lleva mucho tiempo con el mismo precio mientras el resto de la zona ha cambiado, la app muestra un triángulo de aviso: su precio puede no estar actualizado.
¿Qué significa el número en céntimos? Es la diferencia entre el precio de la gasolinera y la media de todas las gasolineras dentro de tu radio de búsqueda. En negativo, más barata que la media; en positivo, más cara.
¿Cómo funciona «¿Compensa ir?»? La app compara cada gasolinera con la abierta a la que llegas antes. Pone en la balanza lo que ahorrarías al llenar el depósito frente al combustible que gastas en los kilómetros de más, ida y vuelta. En Ajustes puedes cambiar los litros por repostaje, el consumo de tu coche y el umbral de «Compensa».
¿Por qué no veo gasolineras? La app solo cubre España, incluidas Canarias, Ceuta y Melilla. Si estás fuera de España o no has permitido el acceso a la ubicación, puedes probar el ejemplo en Madrid. Comprueba también la conexión y prueba con un radio de búsqueda mayor en Ajustes.
¿Qué carburantes hay? Gasolina 95 E5, Gasolina 98 E5, Gasóleo A y Gasóleo Premium.
¿Hasta cuándo llega el histórico? Hasta un año. La primera vez que abres un periodo largo, la app descarga los días que faltan, y puede tardar un poco.
¿Puedo abrir la ruta en otra app? Sí. Elige Apple Maps, Google Maps o Waze en Ajustes.
